Ghazal Overview
Bazicha-e-Atfal Hai Duniya Mere Aagay (بازیچه اطفال ہے دنیا میرے آگے) is an immortal philosophical ghazal composed by the greatest classical poet of Urdu, Mirza Asadullah Khan Ghalib. In this profound poem, Ghalib views the universe as a spectator watching a children's game(Bazicha-e-Atfal), where transient pleasures, pride, grief, and ambitions unfold endlessly like scenes in a theatrical illusion.
With incomparable intellectual depth, irony, and linguistic dexterity, Ghalib elevates ordinary romantic conventions into existential inquiries about reality, human identity, and the cosmic order. Our notes feature detailed couplet-by-couplet Tashreeh with Hawala-e-Shair, poet biography, and difficult vocabulary meanings (Alfaaz Maani) to equip students thoroughly for subjective board examination questions.
In addition, this unit provides fully solved textbook exercises, literary devices (such as Tashbeeh, Istiara, Talmeeh, and Tazad), rhyming metrics (Qafia and Radif), and SLO-based objective MCQs. Students can prepare with precision for class tests and final Punjab Board matric examinations.
